An orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Cary practiced with Orthopaedic Associates of New Orleans beginning in 1960. Dr. Cary routinely treated general orthopaedic diseases and conditions as well as stroke disabilities. He also performed independent medical evaluations and treated patients having on-the-job injuries.

A graduate of Tulane University School of Medicine, Dr. Cary completed his residency at Charity Hospital of New Orleans and then joined the United States Air Force. He later completed a hand fellowship in Paris, France, and, joint replacement training at the Mayo Clinic and Harvard University. He is board certified in orthopaedic surgery.
