Metairie Park Country Day
Country day was founded in 1929 and has evolved into a private coeducational K-12 school. Enrollment averages more than 700 students. The athletic program boasts 70-80 percent of upper school students who participate in at least one sport, with 50-60 percent involved in two or more sports. Seventeen of the 23 sports governed by the LHSAA are represented at the school including football, basketball, baseball, soccer, volleyball, track and field, and cross country. From 2001 to 2007, the school has either won the prestigious Southern Quality Ford Cup or has been state runner-up.
Doctor Estrada and his partners have provided complete orthopaedic and sports medicine coverage for the Country Day athletic program since 2006.
